How Reality PR promoted Capablue to secure its position as market leader in less than a year of engagement.
Founded in 2006 Capablue is a web to TV convergence agency. They have been involved in a number of high profile development projects, including BBC iPlayer and YouView as well as working with broadcasters BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five. They have been at the cutting edge of digital broadcast but very little was known about this agency before we got involved.
Reality PR was appointed to raise the profile of the company and its management team within the connected tv industry. This has been successfully accomplished through a combination of PR initiatives, including: : byline articles, news jacks, forward feature tracking, news, opinion pieces, new appointment announcements and letters to editors have all been strategically implemented to elevate Capablue.
PR through social media, linked into the Capablue site has positioned the company as a useful and relevant source for up to the minute industry news. Twitter and facebook is also used to drive news on Capablue and create dialogue among key people within the industry.
In August 2010 Capablue partnered with Brightcove and TV Genius to develop the connected platform for Scottish Broadcaster STV. In January 2011 Capablue was appointed to develop the connected platform for Playboy TV. In March 2011 we announced that Capablue won the Samsung Smart TV Challenge.
Lead by MD Tom Cape, Capablue are recognised as industry leaders. Just take a look at industry publications and nationals – NMA, Daily Telegraph, Broadcast magazine to name a few. The list goes on and the name Capablue is synonymous with VoD and connected platforms.
