While many businesses are getting very used to the WFH ethic there are plenty that have opened their offices again. While home working is great for many reasons, you just can’t get the same sense of collaboration or team spirit that working in an office gives you. That said, there are going to be big shifts, not just in the way businesses operate, but also the way they communicate.

There is a noticeable shift in the way companies and brands will be communicating from now on. Businesses will be intent on measuring their ethical activities rather than simply their statements of purpose.
People are now much more aware of a company’s behaviours, not just how it markets itself, and businesses are very focused on certain areas of their communications at the moment. They need to educate their consumers on changes to their own operations as a result of COVID-19; and they want to communicate their policies on society or sustainability.

Companies and brands should be aware that they’re being judged right now and so shift their communication plans as well as their business operations to work with the new normal.
